Height: 5'9

Personal Style: Jess stands at five feet and nine inches. Her hair comes to the mid section of her back and is of a honey blonde shade. Naturally her hair is brown, but Jess prefers to colour it light. She believes it suits her face and complexion much greater then the darker shade that can make her skin look pale and dull.
She has blonde hair and emerald green shaded eyes, which complement her creamy but pale complexion. Jess has a fairly rounded face, which slightly squares at the jaw. She has a small and slim bridged nose, prominent high cheek bones, and heart shaped lips (the lower being typically wider then the upper).
When it comes to clothing, she will choose comfort over fashion any day. The only item of clothing that she swears by are her heels; she can’t stand to go without them. Jess often wears dark shades of clothing as she feels they compliment her figure however, they tend to make her skin tone much paler then it is.
Jess isn't always a tomboy, sure she likes a comfortable pair of jeans and a plaid shirt but isn't shy of showing a bit of skin. Jess likes to dress up if the occasion calls for it
She wears make-up to a minimum, sticking to neutral shades such as creams, browns and greys. She doesn't like heavy make-up, Jess is in her thirties not her teens and believes too much make-up can either make you look older then you are, or cheap. Neither of which she wants to be.
Personality
General Personality: Jess is hardworking, reliable, logical and highly intellectual. She has a strong mind and a strong work ethic. Jess is fiercely independent, when it comes to her personal life and dealing with personal issues she doesn’t require nor search for direction from others. She prides herself on keeping her own ‘issues’ to herself, which on some level makes her a hypocrite because when it comes to others problems she wants to hear all about them and won’t settle for anyone trying to cope alone when she knows she can be of assistance. Jess is a very empathetic toward her peers. She’s got a heart of gold, but can have a toughened exterior if necessary.
She is able to accomplish anything she puts her mind to and she won't give up until she has. She is perfectly suited to being on her own and doesn’t look to others for any means of support. She’s the type to just get her head down and deal with the situation at hand. She is not ideally a social butterfly like some but she is also not difficult to get along with. Jess is particularly bubbly when she needs to be and is always down for cracking jokes and making others laugh with her rather dashing sense of humour.
She has a knack for detail and sorting and organizing both information and objects. She tends to compartmentalize things in her own mind and to view the world through an analytical lens. As a result, Jess is rational, practical and adaptable. However, on the negative side, she has a tendency to fuss over little details and in some cases suffers from obsessions and compulsions. Jess doesn’t see these as flaws so much as ‘quirks’ because she believes that it’s the little things that separate her from being the same as others. She quite likes her quirks.
Intelligence, modesty and diplomacy enable Jess to get along well with most people. She can come across as quiet and somewhat coy at times, but she’s not a shy individual. She has a habit of assessing her peers and likes to be familiar with those around her before she puts herself forward. Jess has a semi sarcastic attitude at times, which on some level can be perceived negatively. She can assure you though, that she means no harm, it’s just the style of her sense of humour that some do not always get. But, with sarcasm aside, Jess does have a knack for making people laugh with her witty comments and her charming, ‘eccentric’ nature.
She can be critical of others and incredibly hard on herself at times. As a result, she can be relied on to keep her promises and fulfil her obligations, and she has little tolerance for those who cannot. Jess has an excellent memory and combined with an inability to let things go, she does sometimes bear grudges against those around her. As it goes, Jess isn’t the type of person to spit bullshit. If she doesn’t like you, you will know about it. It takes a lot for this woman to dislike you, she isn’t the type to just look at a person and know she won’t like them. Everyone gets one chance with Jess but if you blow it, she doesn’t give second chances. She easy to get along with and she’s inviting toward all kinds of people, but however easy going she can be, she’s not much of a forgiver.
Jess is clever and versatile; she often uses both of these qualities to her advantage which results in others taking an interest or warming to her quickly. She often finds that she can win people over by dazzling them with her charisma and generosity. She can be intimidating, and finds that weaker individuals feel obliged to let her be in charge because she’s very cool headed and seemingly always ready to face whatever may come her way. For this, she is often admired for being brave and somewhat daring at times because she never seems fazed by a situation.
She is very cool under pressure and thus great to have around in a crisis. Oddly enough, she actually deals better with adverse circumstances than minor irritations. She has a strong desire to serve a good cause, and for this she can labour intensively, even for little reward. She has a kind nature, and she’s tolerant but like everyone else she also has a cut off point where she will reach her limit.
When it comes to the paranormal, Jessica considers it to be simple nonsense. Regardless of the fact that her brothers claim their younger sister was killed by a werewolf. Jessica is a sceptic, she doesn't believe in anything that she can't see or something that isn't backed up by factual evidence. Folklore and myths fall on deaf ears. Jessica is set in her ways, un-interested in chasing ghosts like her brothers and would much prefer to live the 'real world'.

She's got a passion for symmetry and is particular when it comes to positioning furniture and objects.
The worse part of her OCD is that she absolutely despises ODD numbers, which can be a right pain when it comes to riding elevators. She's not even sure why she doesn't like them, she just doesn't. - Scar; Jessica has a small scar above her left brow from a childhood incident. She was accidentally hit in the face by her cousin, with a tent pole during a camping trip with the family.
- Allergy; Jessica is allergic to nuts and is sensitive to all kind, even mild traces.
History
Jessica Jane Kramer was born in Dallas, Texas on February 28th, 1978. Jessica's father, James served in the marines and her mother was a middle school teacher. Being raised by a marine certainly had an effect on the household itself. Jessica and her siblings were raised in a strict home with many rules and restrictions. Being the eldest, Jessica tended to be fairly close to her father, which encouraged her tom boyish nature. However, despite being a similar to her father, Jessica found that heavier pressure and responsibility from her father resulted in her rebelling quickly on in her teen years which ultimately effected her greatly in later life.
When Jessica turned 17 years old, she fell pregnant. Her parents were upset because of her age but when it came to the father in question they were somewhat accepting. Jessica had gotten close to a family friend, Riley who was two years older than Jessica. He appeared to be more like another son for her parents and an older brother to her younger brothers. But, Jessica never really saw him as family. Riley didn’t have the best upbringing and spent a lot of his days at their home. It was a given that the two would get close and eventually a relationship blossomed.
Suffice to say, no one expected a baby to come out of it so early on. Jessica was lucky that her parents were so supportive of her and the decision that both she and Riley made. Because she was pregnant, she had to take time off school. Though they were both young, it appeared that both of she and Riley had their heads screwed on and her family were there to support them if need be. Riley remained in school, Jessica off due to her pregnancy but the young blonde was determine to get back on track once the baby was born.
Whilst Jessica was pregnant she remained living at home. 9 months later and Jessica gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Kristoffer. After the birth of her son, she wasted no time before getting back into a work ethic. Of course, being a new mother, she wasn’t about to leave her child with anybody and worked from home. She juggled being a teen mother and finishing up school. Riley was always around, he’d come and look after Kristoffer as much as he could and as often as he could to help. Thus far, they appeared to be managing really well.
Riley’s mother suffered from some serious mental health problems and after being taken to a psyche unit, Riley moved in with Jessica and her family. Everyone appeared to be pitching in everywhere, allowing the young parents to be both that and to have some form of career to look forward to. After all, how were they going to provide for a child if they didn’t have jobs?
Initially Jessica wanted to be a doctor, but she soon got the desire to head in a different direction and that's when she'd decided she wanted to be in the police force. Suffice to say the ladders she had to climb to get to her goals were very difficult but her personal strength and determination led her to prevail and soon enough she was right where she wanted to be. With a good job and a lot of stability, Jessica was able to provide for Kris and she and Riley shortly moved out to start a life of their own.
They didn’t move relatively far, a couple of blocks away but enough to give themselves some privacy.
When Kris turned 7 years old, tragedy struck the family. Jessica lost her little sister, Natalie. Natalie (Nicks Twin) was 22 years old when she lost her life. She had been out one evening with her two brothers, her twin brother Nick and younger brother, Sam. Nick’s car had broken down on a back road. Riley at the time had his owned his own auto shop and after Nick called, set off to pick him and his siblings up. Whilst they waited on the roadside, Sam decided he had to go to the bathroom, so Natalie took him a little into the woodland just off the side of the road.
Nick didn’t think anything of it, until time seemed to pass and the two had not yet returned. Riley shortly showed up, to find the car but the three of them were nowhere to be seen. The sound of screams and shouts from inside the woods, prompted Riley to investigate. He was surely not prepared for what he saw. The siblings were panic stricken, a bloody Natalie looking worse for wares as her two siblings tried to carry her back through the woods. Everything happened so fast and before they knew it, she was being dragged off again. Something had gotten hold of her and there was nothing they could do.
The trio began to tail, following in the trail of leaves and finger dents in the dirt where Natalie had tried to claw at the ground. Upon reaching Natalie, they came to her aid but it appeared to be too late. When they found her, she was barely recognisable. Just when they thought it was all over, the creature came back this time for Sam. With all three present at the time, they all got a good look at it and worse could not describe. They were able to fend it off, saving Sam who had nothing more than a couple of deep scratches.
When the boys returned, statements had to be made and each of them claimed that a dog had done it. They weren’t sure what else to call it. Natalie had been mauled to death, and though the boys had claimed it to be by a dark, the wounds suggested otherwise, bigger perhaps. Natalie’s death struck the family hard, her mother went into a deep depression and her father took an extended leave of absence from his job.
Jessica and her siblings appeared to fight more, because her brothers just couldn’t let it go. A while after she had died, she caught Sam looking at articles on werewolves and other canine type of creatures. Jessica went ballistic over it and upon confronting Nick, learned that he seemed to have his mind set on the same thing. She accused Nick of poisoning Sam’s mind and filling it full of garbage. She believed that it was their way of grieving, that they were still trying to find answers. Little did she know that the two of them had let it go, until Sam started to go through some changes, which led them back to the events of that night.
It got worse when the boys decided to go about making their business official and proclaimed to be paranormal investigators. Jessica didn’t agree with what they were doing and thought they were both equally as crazy as one another, but despite not believing or understanding she did nothing to intervene. The only time she got involved was when the boys’ names popped up in cases at work. Of course, Nick and Sam’s quest did grab the attention of Riley who had also been there that night. Riley’s involvement within the team pushed Jessica to breaking point and just after Kris’s 10th birthday, and a second child on the way, the two of them decided to part ways.
Jessica wasn’t happy about it. She loved Riley but what they had embarked on, the supernatural and what not just wasn't working for her. She feared that he'd get himself into trouble and she'd end up losing him. They had a son, and another baby on the way and it was just too much all at once. So, after 12 years together, the two parted ways. Riley was their throughout her pregnancy. They were separated but being a dad came before absolutely everything and he never once let her nor their children down. Jess and Riley had spent 12 years together, un-married but managed to retain a healthy relationship before and after the split.
At 30 and 3 years later, Jessica married Michael. She had doubts from the beginning, and believed that maybe this was her way of coping after spending the last 12 years with someone else. Jessica knew that Riley was always going to be special to her, not just because of their children; Kristoffer (17) and Scarlet (6), but because of all the things they’d experienced with one another. Regardless of her doubts, Jessica married Michael, and after a year of marriage is now in the middle of a divorce due to Michaels infidelity.

"You've got ten minutes and then I'm coming up for you. I mean it. You're gonna be late." The blonde called as she rested her hand on the banister of the stairs, eyes scaling upward. Kris wasn't much of a fan of school, he got that from his dad no doubt. But recently it had gotten worse, he seemed to be purposefully making himself late or trying to avoid going all together. Jessica wondered if perhaps he was being bullied, though she doubted it because he was a pretty tough kid when it came to it.
Then again, he could be kind of shy.
She had worried a great deal. Whilst he'd spent the previous week holiday with his father, she'd hoped Riley could get the truth from him. He hadn't in fact, Kris seemed far too preocupied with lurking around the Forsaken PI head quarters to even think about what was going on anywhere else on planet earth. As much as she didn't like the idea, Kris seemed to love that side of things..the paranormal and all that crap. It wasn't for Jessica, she wasn't interested in the slightest.
He'd come back telling her all of these stories and she'd have to call Riley up having a go about taking him out on jobs. Of course, she knew even if he was out with them he was safe because Riley would have never let any harm come to him. Still, she had her fears and Riley knew that. Riley called it bonding, she called it filling his head with crap.
Kris was 16 years old and old enough to make his own mind up, that's what he claimed but Jess thought otherwise. He was her baby, always would be and for that sometimes she was a little over protective.
She headed into the kitchen and finished up with breakfast when Kris finally surfaced looking half asleep. He sunk down in the seat at the table, he was dressed...barely. Jess watched him for a moment, before heading over and placing his breakfast down in front of him "Rough night?" She asked blowing across the steaming liquid in her mug. It was piping hot, she fanned the rim with her lips before taking a tiny sip.
Kris shook his head "..I guess. Did you hear that noise outside? I think there's something in the attic..maybe a squirrel..or a bear." He told her, from the sound he'd heard he wouldn't be surprised if it was a bear. Jess eyed him for a moment, raising a brow before slowly looking up toward the ceiling "A bear?...or a man..oh no. Uh, I watched this show a couple of nights ago about a killer that stalked people, lived in their attics and watched them for months at a time before striking...." she trailed, wishing she hadn't seen that show nor reminded herself of it now.
She dropped her eyes to him, looking slightly worse for wares "Sooo, maybe we'll give your dad a call and he can go up and take a look for us?" She suggested. "I'm sure it's nothing.." Kris smirked a little, shrugging as he poked his fork into the bacon on his plate.
"Heh, we could tell him it's a ghost..or an alien" Jessica mocked with a grin. Kris finished chewing the piece of bacon rolling around his mouth before talking again. He knew she was making fun, she always did and it wasn't to be mean but it was still kinda mean. Regardless, he didn't care either way because he thought it was cool and couldn't wait to go on a real live hunt. He just couldn't tell her that.
"..That could be awesome, they haven't seen any aliens before. But, now you mention it..it could be a ghost. Maybe I could go and check it out.." He beamed, looking up at the ceiling. God, he'd love that so much. Jessica snorted at him "Ha, my ass you will. The only place you're going is to school..now eat up. I'll drop you on my way to work." She told him, slipping out of her seat and heading deeper into the kitchen to clean up.
