PERSONAL STYLE:
He has a long somewhat square shaped face, with small bright blue eyes and a long wide bridged nose. His eyes are the feature that stands out most on his face because they are brightly coloured and compliment his fair skin and lightly shaded hair.
Ethan’s hair is short in length and often spiked and messy in style (kind of like he’s just woken up, which most days that are the case). Ethan isn’t fond of the clean shaven look and always opts for some minimal facial hair. It suits him better.
When it comes to fashion, he hardly cares for it. Though, that doesn’t mean he lets himself look like crap. Ethan tends to choose comfort over trend and wears pretty much anything that feels right. He’s usually wearing jeans and some kind of t-shirt or shirt. He likes neutral colors; whites, greys and blacks but sometimes wear brighter shades. He doesn’t however; think men should be allowed to wear pink because it’s a little emasculate.
Personality
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Ethan is an all around nice guy. However, some of his personality traits would cause others to think otherwise and he’s okay with that. The thing is, Ethan likes to be perceived somewhat negatively because by doing so it means that people are inclined to take a step back from him and that’s what he prefers. Ethan is somewhat emotionally detached. He struggles with communication and finds it difficult to get close to others due to previous events in his life. Suffice to say that even though he does find it difficult and prefers not to really make connections with people, Ethan is a very likeable individual. Though, he hasn’t always been that way, but since having his daughter Megan (12), Ethan was forced to grow up fast.
Those who really know him would say that Ethan is very confident and increasingly arrogant. On top of being arrogant at times, he can also be pretty chauvinistic toward others (not primarily sexism as such, but people as a whole). Ethan is a very judgmental individual, a trait in which he more or less gets from his mother. He’s always making a comment toward others behaviour and choices and more or less never agrees with what others are doing. He prides himself on his own opinions. If anyone disagrees with him he’s likely to either ignore them or simply overpower their thoughts.
He is extremely harsh when it comes to the actions of others. If he doesn’t agree with something someone has done, he makes damn sure to point it out. In no way is he as innocent as he’d like to think, which makes him a bit of a hypocrite. He tends to take the law into his own hands by handing out extrajudicial punishment to those whom he believes have done wrong.
Ethan is guilty of having a god complex, which with being said is mostly the reason as to why he’s always taking risks. He believes himself to be somewhat untouchable and in most cases he’d be right but he’s often the type to push himself too far, to the point where he’s outright endangering himself. Whether he’s in a sticky situation or not, Ethan will argue that he is mostly better than others and is capable of achieving anything he puts his mind too. Where others fail, Ethan often excels because he feels he has the drive and dedication to do so where as others would easily give up and be defeated.
There is a much softer, much more understanding side to Ethan which often shows in the form of helping others. He’s not the kind of person who will stand back and watch someone suffer, especially when he knows that he could actually help them out in some way. He’s extremely helpful and protective of others, often throwing himself into a situation to help another out. Ethan is a good listener and that’s mostly because he doesn’t usually have a lot to say. He’s particularly quiet when he isn’t throwing his opinions at people and is often deemed as sometimes socially awkward or just downright shy. His loyalties to those around him are admirable. If you’re a friend of his, he will have your back no matter what. But, if you cross him, there’s not really much hope ever restoring his trust and faith again because Ethan holds grudges.

Powers, Abilities, Skills
Ethan is a Werewolf.
He is unable to transform at will and only does so during a full moon. Ethan spends most of his evenings locked away as he's never quite certain when the full moon could arise and the transformation will take place, he's like a ticking time bomb during the full moon process.
In his transformed state Ethan is somewhat invulnerable to injury. Especially minor injuries that could slow or hinder a regular human beings performance. However, once back to his human state...any injuries sustained during his transformation will have a heavier impact on his human body.
Like any Werewolf, Ethan can be killed by silver in his transformed state.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
- Superhuman Strength
- Enhanced Speed
- Heightened Senses (Sight, Smell, Sound and Taste)
SKILLS:
- Cooking
- Mechanics
- Fighting (Cage Fighter)
LIMITS AND FLAWS:
When not in his transformed state, Ethan is just like any other human being. He does not have enhanced strength nor sense and is susceptible to injuries just like every body else.
Regardless of being able to handle certain injuries whilst in wolf form, any sustained injuries will be present in both forms.
Ethan has many scars, most received from his hobbie as a cage fighter. The most obvious scar he has is on his chin. However, the facial hair covers it particularly well.
History
Ethaniel was born in Garland, Texas to Theresa and Andrew Matthews. He was raised in a wealthy home where he was always used to getting whatever it was that his young heart desired. Though, looking back now, they were meaningless. To be honest, he wasn’t one for materials, but as a child, he really knew no better. Tessa and Andrew were the working types. They were all about work and did not have much free time to spend with their kids. At a young age, Ethan and Emma weren't really capable of understanding how it all worked. To be honest, the duo never asked questions because they knew every time Mom and Dad went away; they came back with something nice for them. If anything, it seemed to be a luxury when their parents went away because they came back bearing gifts. What child wouldn’t be happy with that?
It wasn’t always that way. Whenever their parents were around they doted on their children. However, Ethan’s parents were the pushy kind. Ethan wasn’t really the kind of person that needed aid in a particular direction, because he always knew what he wanted to do and always applied himself, but nothing alike that could be said about Emma who much preferred to just indulge in a life of luxury, never straying too far from her father’s wallet. For a lot of his life though, Emma was like Ethan’s shadow. Since he was a boy and got a lot of the attention and praise from his parents, Emma seemed to aspire to be like him. She’d want to hang out with him, she liked the same things he did and avoided all of those things that typical girls did. Emma was very tomboyish; she didn’t mind about getting her hands dirty, she liked wrestling and watching action movies. But after a few years, there mother couldn’t sit back anymore and began to intervene. Emma was a girl, so she should have behaved like a girl and that’s where the trouble really began.
Ethan sat back and watched his sister as she was pushed into other activities; ballet and dancing, along with then participating in beauty pageants. It was boring for him and if he was honest, he kind of missed the old Emma. He always believed that if she’d just applied herself, that maybe there mother would have eased off on her. Ethan pretty much did what he wanted, when he wanted. He was the apple of his father’s eye, a dutiful son who excelled in most things he did. He played football at school, he was on the swim team and ran track too. Ethan hated when his sister was frequently compared to him, not for himself but for her. He knew how she felt, how she suffered in his shadow and being compared constantly, seemed to throw her over the edge and she rebelled tremendously.
The thing was, Ethan didn’t want to be caught up in the middle of it all. He hated being caught up in Emma’s feud with their parents and often found himself becoming the prime target for a lot of the issues. She blamed him heavily for the way there parents behaved toward her and sure, in some light it was his fault for setting such an example but at the end of the day the only person she could blame was herself. At one point, he’d even tried to get through to her but she just accused him for interfering and told him to butt out. He couldn’t help her if she didn’t want it. Eventually things got so bad that their parents relationship seemed to suffer and before her knew it, Emma had run away.
They searched high and low for the teenage tear away, who seemed to not wish to be found. Emma had chosen a path for herself and had no desire of looking back. Though Ethan missed her, life went on as normal. Despite getting back on track, he did as much as he could to find his little sister but how could you find someone who stopped at nothing to cover their tracks. It was as if she vanished off the face of the earth.
Ethan's life began to change quickly in his late teens. He appeared to fall of the tracks for some time, rather enjoying partying then studying and as an athlete this became a problem. Because he began flunking subjects, he was no longer allowed to play football and soon he began to sway. He got in with the wrong crowd and became the type of person he despised the most; a typical jock. He was forever getting himself into fights, into crap when it came to girls and eventually his parents had enough.
He was stripped of all privileges and now realised just how tough Emma had had it. She'd lived in his shadow for years and now he was living in his own shadow. Ethan was sick of the person he'd become and opted to do something about it. He had to find Emma. Ethan believed finding Emma would help him battle his demons, by confronting her and bringing her back home where she belonged maybe..just maybe everything would be fine again.
Ethan packed a bag and hit the road in search of his sister. Unfortunately, he didn't come across her but along the way did stumble upon something else. One evening in June, when Ethan was 19 years old he was attacked. The young man had been in Dallas, Texas after hearing that Emma had a few friends near the city. En route, Ethan struggled to keep himself on a back road after swerving to miss what he had assumed was a deer. The young man came off the road and ploughed his vehicle into a tree. The collision knocked him unconscious for some time and when he awoke, he was forced to climb from the wreckage and trek back to the road.
Ethan never did make it to the road. He couldn't remember fully what had happened between the time he'd gotten out of the car and awoke in the hospital. He woke up in the hospital the morning after, assuming that he'd collapsed and been found by a hiker..only, when the doctor came to his bedside they told him that he'd been viciously attacked. Ethan couldn't remember a damn thing and braced himself for the worse once being informed of his previous state. Strangely, despite practically being mauled to smithereens...his injuries were gone.
The doctors tried to keep him in for more tests, uncertain of how this miraculous recovery occurred but Ethan wasn't interested. He had stuff to do. He waited until the doctors had left before making a swift exit. He felt fine, he looked fine...he believed that he was simply fine, however, he was anything but. That night would be one that changed his life forever. Ethan would never be the same again.
The next few nights were strange, extremely so as Ethan found himself three nights in a row..waking up outside..naked. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on but believed that the crash had possibly had some side effects that he hadn't been aware of, like..naked sleep walking. As the nights drew out, his appeared to stray further and further away from the hotel he was staying at and most of the times awaking in the woodlands. However, come the third night...things became really messed up.
Ethan awoke in the woods, feeling as if he'd been hit by a truck and this time..he was covered in blood. The blood evidently didn't appear to be his own. The next few days were difficult on him, he wasn't waking up to find himself outdoors but simply inside where he'd fallen asleep. He barely slept as he had terrible nightmares and eventually, found himself seeking out help. Ethan returned to the hospital that had treated him all those weeks ago in search of answers.
They claimed that Ethan looked as if he'd been attacked by a bear and after being shown images of the injuries he'd sustained, found it remarkable that he'd made it out alive and more so..without a mark to show for his attack. The doctors weren't sure what to make of it, however, stated that this had not been the first time they'd seen something like this. Ethan was then given the name and address of a man whom could possibly answer his questions.
Of course, the answers he got were not what he'd expected. Ethan had been attacked by a werewolf. He had never believed in such things but, having met Mark and understanding that this man had not only been through the same experience as Ethan but had also been through the transition...Ethan was forced with nothing else but to believe it. He was a werewolf. The worse thing was, that he'd shared his story with Mark and the vivid nightmares he'd been getting. He thought he'd been simply dreaming but when Mark pulled up a recent article about a girl being killed in the near woods..Ethan realised, he'd been the animal that had killed her and left her brother for dead.
From that point on, life would never be the same again.
He attempted to keep some normality about him. After learning a lot about the curse and spending time with Mark, Ethan was able to have a normal a life as he could. Of course, things would never be the same but he couldn't give up. Ethan opted to move away from Texas all together, his travels soon taking him to New York. He'd been away from his family for three years, now 22 years old, Ethan begun to get his life back on track.
As always, when things began to fall into place...a spanner flew into the works. Ethan's father contacted him, the two had spoken a great deal over the past three years but this call in particular was one that he hadn't expected. Ethan had been pretty erratic as a teenager and it seemed that his actions back then had come with some consequences. Ethan was a father. His daughter; Megan was now five years old and he was only just hearing about it now. Apparently, Megan's mother had passed away and with her mother gone her grandparents believed it was only right for her to meet her father.
Ethan wasn't sure what to think about it all. His life had gained some stability but still...this child had spent five years of not knowing him. What did he do? what could he say? He had no time to contemplate because before her knew it, the little girl had just fallen into his lap just like that. He was a dad and Megan was his little girl. There was a lot of debate about where she belonged and where she should have been. In Texas with her grandparents or New York with her father and for several months the child was bounced back and forth until eventually they were able to agree that Megan should have been with her dad.
As Megan got older, she began to ask more questions about him and his life and eventually he told her his secret. You see, his life was hard, sometimes he had to go away and he'd be gone for days at a time and during those days she'd be with her grandparents wondering what the hell was going on. Of course, Ethan waited until she was old enough to understand what was going on.

Ethan glanced over his shoulder hearing commotion coming from the apartment across the hall from his. It was like that every night, the couple inside were constantly arguing. Ethan had bumped into the woman a few times in the hall, she didn’t go out much so he rarely saw her but when he did she was always covered in bruises. He’d asked her on more than one occasion if she was okay but she often just made excuses for her injuries, you know the usual ‘I fell over’ excuse. It was disheartening for him. Sure, he didn’t know this woman but he knew what was going on, what really had occurred and it pained him to know that he couldn’t do anything.
He could effectively do something but, who was he to intrude where he wasn’t welcome? She was scared and he understood that, but he couldn’t just charge in there and beat her boyfriend to a bloody mess without really knowing what was going on. God forbid a guy his size did something like that only to find he’d gotten the wrong end of the stick. Yeah, he doubted as much but he still had no real proof to back his suspicion of domestic abuse. Finally tearing his attention from the apartment he let himself into his, opened the door and flicked the lights on before stepping inside.
He moved across the lounge and toward the kitchen, just about getting to the door when he heard the commotion next door getting louder. From his kitchen he could hear the yelling perfectly, he could even make out the words exchanged, he was ranting on about some guy supposedly calling her up and then began accusing her of sleeping around. Ethan sighed heavily, shaking his head and trying his best to ignore the yelling next door. Some of the words exchanged were shocking, he’d have never dreamt speaking to Sofia like that and to be honest, he wasn’t favourable having such people living next door to him. God forbid, if Meganheard any of this crap he’d have had to have some serious words with the neighbours, because this wasn’t acceptable.
Ethan opened the cupboard to take out a glass, but stopped once more. There was a loud sound, which could have only been mistaken for a slap of some kind and a hefty one at that. A thud followed and then the distant sound of crying. He’d grit his teeth by now, and clenched his fist tight. So tight that his knuckles were turning white and now, the glass in his grip shattered within his balled fist. Ethan tossed the shards to the side letting the pieces of glass fall away from his skin. It hurt, sure, it hurt like a son of a bitch but he was seething right now and hardly noticed the pain that came with.
The stocky man pulled his door open and strode across the corridor. His teeth were grit, his face red with fury. Ethan came to the door and instead of knocking, he kicked his foot against the wood and bust the door wide open. Those doors in this place were a whole load crap, made of ply wood mostly and easy to break. As soon as the door broke open, the commotion ceased. He stood in the doorway looking pissed. Ethan was as tall as the door and his shoulders almost as wide as the frame, a pure sight for sore eyes.
Evidently the man within the apartment wasn’t too pleased about the uninvited guest. His girlfriend was on the ground receiving kicks to her upper and lower body, she was on the ground writhing in agony. Ethan glanced at her, before sending a vicious glare toward her partner. He cricked his neck as the boyfriend came charging toward him. Now, he wasn’t one to show off his ability, but this piece of shit needed being taught a lesson and Ethan was the one who was going to do the teaching.
Ethan pulled his arm back toward himself, his fist balled ready. He struck him straight in the jaw, knocking him to the ground in one foul swoop. He leaned over the man, lifting him up by the scruff of his neck, gripping his shirt tight in his fists “Next time you wanna throw your fists around, you leave her alone and you come and knock on my door...or I’ll come and knock yours down again...” Ethan threatened him. After a moment or so, he turned and began to walk out of the apartment and headed back inside his own.
